This is a space where real talk meets therapy and expressive writing gets the spotlight.
I'm a registered social worker and psychotherapist in private practice. Together we can navigate anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, trauma, self-esteem, or relationships.
Book Your Free ConsultationI work with youth and adults who are navigating the challenges of life. Whether you're a parent wondering how to support a teenager who seems anxious or overwhelmed, or an adult feeling scattered and exhausted, I'm here to help.
My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed. I blend evidence-based tools like Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, somatic work, self-regulation techniques, and mindfulness-based approaches with creativity and expressive arts. Sessions are flexible and tailored to what you're actually going through, whether that includes conversation, practical tools, creative expression, or simply slowing things down when life feels overwhelming.
I specialize in working with neuro-divergent folks, especially those with ADHD. I work with people who feel overwhelmed, scattered, or like they're "too much" but also exhausted from trying to be someone they're not. Together, we'll build understanding, self-trust, and tools that actually work for you.
I completed my Indigenous Bachelor of Social Work at Laurentian University and earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, where I specialized in children and family mental health.
I believe therapy works best when we look at the whole picture. While individual support is important, our struggles do not happen in isolation. They are shaped by our family dynamics, relationships, culture, and the systems we move through every day. My approach focuses on understanding those connections and helping clients make sense of their experiences with compassion, context, and care.
I specialize in working with youth ages 12–18. Sessions are shaped around each person's interests and strengths, creating a therapeutic space they feel engaged in. Youth build understanding and skills, while parents receive guidance to support connection and communication at home.
I work with adults navigating the complexities of life, relationships, and self-understanding. Whether you're dealing with recent challenges or long-standing patterns, we'll work together to find what helps.
A powerful tool for processing emotions, building self-awareness, and connecting with yourself and community in a new way.
A 2-hour therapeutic group where we spend time exploring topics that create distress in our lives, such as boundaries, grief, attachment, and more. In the group, we focus on externalizing our stories and processing them in multiple ways: through expressive writing, orally, and through hearing others' experiences. We find safety in sharing within community and discover connection through creativity.
Individual therapy sessions are $150 per session (50 minutes).
Currently, I am only accepting virtual clients through secure online video sessions. However, in the coming months we will be looking into a physical space in the Georgina area to offer in-person sessions. Please reach out during your consultation if you're interested in in-person therapy once it becomes available.
All sessions are conducted online via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You can join from the comfort of your own home anywhere in Ontario. All you need is a private space, a device with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection.
Yes! I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can chat about what you're going through and see if we're a good fit. There's no pressure—it's just a conversation to help you decide if therapy feels right for you.
Sessions can be billed under Social Work Benefits with many insurance providers. The session fee is $150, and most extended health benefit plans cover a portion or all of this cost. I can provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company. Please check with your insurance provider about your specific coverage before your first session.
I use an integrative approach that includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, somatic therapy, expressive arts, mindfulness-based techniques, and self-regulation strategies. The approach is tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
I work with clients experiencing ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and stress management. I specialize in working with neuro-divergent individuals, particularly those with ADHD.
I work with both youth (ages 12-18) and adults (18+). For youth clients, I take a collaborative approach that involves parents in meaningful ways while respecting the teen's autonomy and privacy in sessions.
That's completely normal! Many people feel uncertain when they first reach out. The free 15-minute consultation is a great way to explore your concerns without any commitment. We can talk about what you're experiencing and whether therapy might be helpful.
It varies based on your needs and goals! Some people find what they need in a few months, while others benefit from longer-term support. We'll work together to figure out what makes sense for you, and you're always in control of how long you'd like to continue.
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. I understand that emergencies happen, and we can discuss specific situations on a case-by-case basis.
Yes. As a Registered Social Worker, I'm bound by professional ethics and privacy laws to keep your information confidential. The only exceptions are if there's a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law. We'll discuss confidentiality in detail during our first session.
Find a private, comfortable space where you won't be interrupted. Think about what you'd like to work on, but don't worry about having everything figured out—we'll explore that together. Have a device with a camera, microphone, and stable internet connection ready. Most importantly, come as you are.
The expressive writing group is a 2-hour therapeutic session where we explore topics like boundaries, grief, and attachment through writing. We focus on externalizing stories and processing them through expressive writing, oral sharing, and hearing others' experiences. It's a safe, judgment-free space for creative expression and connection.
No, as a Registered Social Worker, I do not prescribe medication. However, I can work collaboratively with your family doctor or psychiatrist if medication is part of your treatment plan. If you're interested in exploring medication options, I can provide referrals to psychiatrists.
